Airborne

August 2, 2008
2:00pm EST
Seat 59C, AC Flight 0001
Somewhere in the air over Ontario, Canada

The plane is in the air. I am no longer calm.

I calm myself with math:
  • This morning, I woke up at 7:30am EST.
  • The Coach Canada airport shuttle left at 8:45am EST (1:15 since leaving my bed in Peterborough).
  • Arrived at Pearson at 11:00am EST (3:30 since leaving my bed in Peterborough).
  • Plane took off at 1:20pm EST (5:50 since leaving my bed in Peterborough).
  • The flight to Japan lasts 12:45 (18:35 since leaving my bed in Peterborough) – time zones confuse me, so I won’t discuss in terms of time anymore.
  • The stopover in Japan lasts 1:50 (20:25 since leaving my bed in Peterborough).
  • The flight to Bangkok lasts 6:30 (26:55 since leaving my bed in Peterborough).
  • The stopover in Bangkok lasts 13:35 (40:30 since leaving my bed in Peterborough).
  • The flight to Siem Reap lasts 1:20 (41:50 since leaving my bed in Peterborough).
That’s not helping calm me, somehow.

Sidenote: Niki, I figured out what I forgot: antiperspirant.
